Personally, I'd fire anyone who went into the season with Aiden O'Connell and Gardner Minshew as my QB room lol

 

Telesco isn't a very good GM

Beard is right though that people loved his moves until they didn't, and wrote off the Chargers' underperformance as freak injuries for a while, while praising all of Telesco's moves as "the one that'll turn it around"

Goes to show that games aren't played on paper etc etc

 

Chiefs played people who could barely get on an nfl roster against a team that needed to win to get in and has a good defense and up and coming offense. Bengals fans are something else.

 

Their FA class wasn't bad either

 

Yeah, obviously a GM can’t control what plays are called and what players do on the field but does the guy deserve a second chance after 10 years of mediocrity?

I wasn't doubting they were doing a full reset, I was more so poo-pooing that having a good draft alone is enough to avoid it lol

 

Having a good draft in your first year is a pretty standard way to avoid being fired yeah

 

Fielding an incredibly bad, borderline unwatchable team is a pretty standard way to being fired too. Especially with a new voice in ownership, and a vacancy at head coach. And it's not like he didn't know both of those things were coming either...

 

The bottom line is that the raiders are a dog shit organization
