Had to drive another 150 miles round trip to pick up Kevin from the vet today. He’s 2 balls lighter.

 

I listened to MJ Lenderman’s Boat Songs on the drive and it’s not even close to Manning Fireworks

 

Why is your vet so far away

 

Since we had to find a rescue to sponsor him to get him out of the shelter (since he was “aggressive”) we took the first one we could get which happens to be not close to OKC. That rescue has a partnership with a vet closer to them, so we have to go there while we’re still technically fostering him. They’re paying for everything and I have a company gas card, so

 

Iirc Campbell was listed as a candidate before they hired Eberflus too

i kind of hate that theres even a chance we might have the problem of having 2 good qbs. milton looked electric on some of those drives i hope he gets a chance to be a starter

 

@Joe4th just now pulling in to Detroit and we ‘ll be there in 20 minutes. More snow + had a meeting at work that I had to zoom call for for awhile + left my backpack at the previous house and had to go back after we’d driven 30 minutes

Me and my friend are leaving around 7ish so hoping to be there by like 7:30/7:40

It had a lot to do with how things lined up. The backpack was my fault but today was a tight squeeze no matter what. 4 hour drive plus an hour for the time change, had a non negotiable 1.5 hour meeting with my job that I told them I’d attend virtually, and we got in at like 4:30 AM central (so 5:30 AM this time really)

 

But if you view this whole tour as creating my own stress that’s one way of looking at it I guess lol. Having to pivot our route and maintain our car because of an ice storm we tried to redirect around but couldn’t is just part of tour. The bassist not knowing about his situation and having to fly home was a lame surprise though.
