It definitely got to be out of hand and more mean spirited than it probably needed to be at times I won’t deny it lol

I do miss the thread but it probably is best that it got put out to pasture and we have this instead where it’s a little bit tamer

 

Not a lot. There are few enough of them around here that the only ones we ever deal with are way older and parts don't exist for them anymore and I usually end up hating every second of working on one. That being said, the new models are pretty much completely unknown to me!

Once upon a time this website had a "Like Every Post In This Thread" thread that was a haven for shitposting and clicking "Like" on all of the shitposts, and skewed every Like metric to such an extreme that Jason demanded it be shut down. It was then replaced by the A1 thread, named after debates had in the previous thread in regards to A1 steak sauce, which became the official shitposting thread of the site for years.
