we have fun in here but i swear to god there were times in those threads that i had to leave the building i used to work in because i was laughing so goddamn hard at my desk

 

it probably depends on how long of a leash Ballard and Steichen have tbh; I don’t see a ton of upside in starting Joe Flacco for the rest of this season and definitely not having a starting QB going into 2025 if you definitely have a job in 2025 and there’s still a possibility of AR showing positive development [and I’d certainly hope that Chris Ballard’s job and Anthony Richardson’s tenure at QB are intertwined, I don’t want this FO taking another swing at QB], but if you’re gonna get fired because you have the worst QB in the NFL west of Carolina but maybe won’t if you make the playoffs with an Elite QB and get to spin it that you had a great team besides the QB, then sure it makes sense

My actual insane person take is that if he's looking like a bust, treat Richardson like Taysom Hill and see what happens

I have no idea tbh, Irsay is such a wildcard. He’s loyal to a fault until he snaps and he’s not and he hires Jeff Saturday to coach your football team and forces Matt Ryan to be benched

And add in the additional factor that I’m fairly sure he’s very passively managing the team right now because of his health issues, so maybe his daughters have more say? Or maybe he gets extra hands-on here soon because he wants a title before he can’t be involved in this stuff anymore?

 

Maybe, I don't think so. He was my friend before he was my boss (and still is my friend) so I think it would've come up
