How’d the Pats act faster than the Jags???

My only guess is he is going to do it when they get back to Jax.

 

Vrabel is a badass if they stick with a former Pat but their fans probably wanna go outside the organization

 

they hyped this dude up for years as the Belichick replacement and then gave him one year with a shit roster lol cold world

 

I would guess vrabel has already agreed to the deal by now lol

 

I do feel bad for Mayo himself. He was put into a god awful situation and was not ready for this role yet.

BUT Kraft’s trying to correct their mistakes. Go call Ben Johnson tonight.

when can teams actually talk to assistant coaches? Did they change the rules or is it still like an exclusive window and then nothing until their team is bounced from the playoffs?

Only the assistants from the #1 seeds can do virtual interviews next week. I think all of the others are only after their teams are eliminated.

 

I'd assume Kraft's thinking is he can 'do better' and this is the best chance to lure a high level HC

 

I said it last year too at this point, but I really wasn’t huge on Vrabel as my top choice last season but obviously would have preferred him to Mayo.

However, after the nonsense of this season I feel like Vrabel is definitely a good choice for this team. I still would prefer a modern day offensive guy to come in, but do think Vrabel is a fine choice.

But would it kill them to consider ANYBODY outside of this organization/tree? Like just a single person who isn’t from the tree or a former player of the team? I just want something totally new.

 

I had a dream the jets hired Matt Nagy as head coach but for some reason they did the press conference wearing all bears stuff lol

 

What about that guy who just signed to be at UNC? Could be a good time to lure him away from a freshly signed contract.
