Does this one count as 3 wins, 1 over UT, 1 over that dreadful #refshow, and 1 over your whole network who doubted us?

 

I deserve a medal for sticking with this dumpster fire, especially over the last 6-10 years tbh.

I have seen home losses to the citadel, northern Illinois, and bowling green, and a 2-24 loss on the road at temple in that time.

Look, I went into this season telling myself we were gonna lose at least 3 or 4 games and I won't being calling for DeBoer's head on a plate in year one. Holy shit, this is much harder than anticipated. My dude hasn't coached a good quarter of football since the first 15 minutes of the Georgia game.

Each of these games it’s felt like even though we look good it could blow up any minute, melting down early against Georgia makes sense. I knew they were a powerhouse and would be difficult to overcome but Kirby is right about how early Texas was crowned. Hopefully we can learn from it and win out from here. Nonetheless excited for the future hook em etc

 

Week 8. We’re probably about a week away from re-purposing this to just be a ranking of teams with any shot of making the CFP. I’m at about 40 teams still alive right now.

Legit question: if Vandy upsets Texas next week (not likely, but neither was the upset of Bama) to go to 6-2… do they get ranked ahead of both Texas and Bama or is the Georgia State loss that powerful? My gut says they’d maybe get 25 behind both still because of that loss.

We saw last season with Texas and Bama how much head to head sways voters/deciders on equal win/losses.

 

God damn, we are so embarrassing now

 

I probably won’t unless it were to be a blowout because their games like GSU and Ball St are so unimpressive, but would catapult them into the rankings if they pull the upset for sure
