This tandem in the FOX booth is the worst I’ve heard

 

I’ve had the game on mute but if he sounds half as bad as his suit looks it’s dire up in the booth.

 

I can confirm the suit is better than the commentary

I didn’t get to see it because I’m old and fell asleep but not one mention of Wazzu/San Jose state? I know they are not big programs but a double OT game sound exciting. Cougars had over 600 yards of offense and needed double OT to only win by 2. Geesh.

Speaking of the Vols, too many years have taught me to not buy into the hype (Heup) until the Florida game. Now that that’s not a fixed September game on the schedule, kinda throws it all off. Especially with @CarpetElf and @whitenblue88 ranking is so high in their rankings here, haha.

Nico looks great, our running back duo appears to be even better than last two year’s duo, and the defense goes 3 deep in the front 7. Could be in for a very fun year or two. I’d love to go in there tonight and get a statement win; we struggle on the road as favorites under Heupel (‘22 at SCar, ‘23 at Florida being the two big blunders). Hoping this is the year that changes.

The ceiling for this season is higher than I expected going in, though. And that’s fun as hell.

 

i played with Wazzu in the game a bit and man i’m so bullish on Mateer, Meredith and Shackleford bc of it.
