I doubt they actually bench Mertz this early and it was mostly a joke, but if the offense still looks shaky and they don’t take care of business then it’s not looking good for Billy

Like, if the investigation that definitely isn’t an investigation gets resolved and Michigan gets kicked in the teeth does that somehow work out better for him to not have a contract that could be voided or something? Him not having a contract make him unable to be the fall guy?

Wasn’t he their OC or DC last year? So is he still getting paid his coordinator salary? Very strange.
