Ya'll underrating that Nuggets title considering nobody thought they were REAL contenders going into the playoffs and they swept the Lakers in the WCF, who they had never beat in a playoff series before. They were absolutely dominant those playoffs. Never had a game 7. The Thunder run is probably more impressive when you also factor their regular season, but Nugs run is firmly #2. Looking at it in hindsight makes it even more improbable considering their starting 5 and Bruce Brown all showed up at the same exact time, which hasn't happened since.

 

And I mean what’s a better story than Jokic getting SNUBBED for MVP only go say fuck it I’ll just win Finals MVP

Seeding is actually why the Thunder played 2 game 7s at home

They met in the WCF. You could poke fun at that part of my argument if they met in the first round, but clearly that Lakers team won 2 series to get to that point. Who gives a fuck what seed they were at that point

If we’re saying Lakers title is weak because of bubble then we have to throw Bucks into the same category. That shortened season with no fans was weird.

I don’t care how much of a homer I come off as I will defend that team to my deathbed. The Nuggets have historically been an afterthought. The NBA HATES small market teams. The fact that they won a title at all is miraculous. I feel the same for the Bucks, Raptors, and now the Thunder
