Despite me not really wanting to trade for KD anyway, it’s about time Riley step down if he couldn’t get a deal for KD for the umpteenth time.

 

KD obviously one of the greats but I don’t know how much this moves the needle for Houston in terms of actual postseason success. Good for them for getting a star, I just don’t see age 37 KD leading that team to a title unless more moves are made or Thompson makes a SGA type leap

Houston now has a logjam at the forward spots and like one guard in FVV. I know they have Sheppard but we barely saw him play and we really don’t know what he will be despite most agreeing he has a good ceiling. I guess Amen can play in the 2 spot? Do they have enough 3pt shooters?

Phoenix now has Booker, Beal, Green, and Brooks. A logjam at G and still a big need for size.

Just weird roster construction imo. Both teams need to make additional moves.

 

Not to sound like a first take guest host but the last 5 or so years have been super damaging to KDs standing among the all timers
