yeah i mean i get that KD gets antsy and leaves/chooses situations poorly but i do think that the GSW experiment worked about as well as any superstar choosing to leave for another team ever has haha

Bane is really good and a great fit. Magic see the growth of their main two guys and a weak east next year, I totally get it.

 

I feel like we gave A LOT up for this. Happy to see KCP go though, not sure about tossing Cole in there. His game does frustrate me. The picks are what get me.

 

And I think this trade makes Franz and Banchero even better. Bane will help create a lot more space on offense.

 

This just makes the Luka trade even more absurd imo

Obviously, the cost is sizable, but I really like the Suggs/Bane/Franz/Banchero lineup.

Grizz have been a good drafting team recently so getting all those picks is cool for them. But they aren’t really in rebuild mode. So I don’t really get moving Bane if the idea is still to build around Ja and JJJ. Because Bane is the perfect player to go with them lol

it’s a great trade for the magic. near 50/40/90 guy that also fits their defensive identity. the amount of picks will look like a lot if you’re considering it for bane alone but they’re paying a picks premium to get off the KCP and Anthony contracts lol. this is a win for orlando.
