I'm a fan of the new uniforms themselves, and I especially like how they used the original black warm-up jacket as the basis for the black alternate set. As someone who also became a fan in the early 90s, these immediately take me back, and that's a win. However, I'm less into the font once you get past the return of the stars as the A. It's definitely miles better than the most recent two fonts, but it also feels a little serious for a team whose mascot is a cartoon dragon. Even just making the rest of it lowercase would maybe look better. Other than that nitpick, I'm overall happy with the whole thing.

 

It would kind of seem like the Knicks job should be so favorable they’d be able to poach whoever they want but it doesn’t really feel that way. Solid team with a star, major city/spotlight, play in a historic arena, best two year run in almost 3 decades but unless they announce the new coach tomorrow / super soon it seems like “idk man, guess they’ll find somebody tho”.
