Wolves are frustrating unless they turn the defense around, so I’m glad the Pacers have every basketball God on their side suddenly

 

I admittedly do not watch the Pacers but why does everyone (here) hate them and specifically Halliburton?

I like him but he’s definitely corny and as the kids say a “front runner”

He talks a lot of shit when he’s winning but has been known to avoid media when the team losses etc

it’s this. it isn’t just bucks fans being salty lol. you think the anonymous players poll that said he was the most overrated player in the league was only polling bucks ???

 

he’s very good but i think the issue was, up until this series, it seemed like the majority of the team’s success for two years came off of heavily injured teams. that obviously isn’t the case with new york but more often than not, with how streaky their team can be, it seems like other teams losing more than them winning. but it’s kind of hard to argue against them being one of the most clutch teams of all time this postseason.

i think they wouldn’t be so maligned if dudes like hali, nembhard, mathurin, and turner didn’t - as the post i quoted says - talk soooo much shit and then quiet down immediately the second anything gets tough for them. also mount rushmore whiners to refs over every single foul. yep. theyre annoying lol

 

i hate the heat probably worse than the pacers but that’s entirely due to rivalry/me not being objective stuff. the pacers just seem annoying. they’re easy players to dislike.
