I’ll never really understand Rudy. I know his defensive ratings and his VORP and his LEBRON and his DPBM or whatever other new advanced stat acronyms exist are probably through the roof but come on.

 

I can’t remember a team getting as many uncontested fast breaks in the playoffs as okc

 

He always looks like someone just learning they have arms

I do wish SGA would dial back the playing for the call. like all players do it to a point but he amps it up and he doesnt need to. He has a lethal midrange game and gets to the rim so easily. and it just leaves people disliking OKC. they're a fun, young team (who don't get FTs aside from SGA lol).

 

Getting foul calls is good imo

 

I mean, yeah i don't disagree. i guess i just dislike it more from a different perspective. i want people to like the teams i root for. or at least like tolerate them lol

 

I don’t disagree with you but I think there’s more of a spotlight on it this year due to the teams success and him being MVP. I don’t think his free throw numbers are vastly different compared to last year (and I know for a fact they’re down from two years ago)

He definitely has some realllllllly egregious calls and plays it up but the refs need to also just be better.

 

Yeah, I do remember his numbers being down overall. i guess when it does happen it gives fuel to the whiners, tho i'd say it's mostly sour grapes as they'd lap it up if it if Ant or whoever is on their team did it.

i mean every player creates contact to try and get a call. SGA just gets them more often.

Weird to me to put so much emphasis on SGA’s offensive style when Minnesota’s offense was ass.
