A starting lineup with SGA/Caruso/Dort/Giannis/Chet would be pretty great on the defensive end.

Assuming that a deal involving something like Hartenstein/Jalen Williams/Isaiah Joe + picks would get it done for OKC if they lose to Denver.

That'd be interesting. Looks like they'd only have to send out about $44 million or so to make the deal work. Lots of potential options to get there.

Kinda feel like OKC has no leverage here and isn't going to get the massive haul we'd expect. They'll get a boatload of picks, sure, but i don't think those picks will come with a player of Chet's caliber.

Eh, generally speaking I feel like you have good leverage anytime you’re trading one or the best five players in the league. Maybe there’s examples historically of it going both ways tho idk

 

I just think the entire league will be going into it knowing they're dead in the water if they keep Giannis so there's a bit of a discount there. Not like...anywhere in the stratosphere of Luka, but def think the Buck Bros will be less than thrilled with the package. Could be wrong. Who knows anything, right?

 

Giannis is under team control for another 3 years or something so it's not like they HAVE to deal him now, which helps their leverage
