I, for one, am very happy to see the media once again be completely wrong about the Lakers. Since the trade it was constant "are the Lakers the best team in the West???????" nonsense. Get fucked!

 

when your team is crafted and built around a completely different type of player than the one you traded for, I am absolutely shocked it didn't work out.

 

I heard the same about the logo, unfortunately. My guess is they're gonna use another bad font, or keep the same one like that Frankenjersey they used to retire Shaq's 32. Every single social media poll they post always skews to the first two uniforms and logos, so hopefully they took that to heart. 75% of my Magic merch is socks, weirdly enough.

 

All I have is a jersey, tshirt, 1 pair of socks, and 3 hats. Tough buying Magic gear here in NJ if Im not shopping online. Was excited to finally get to the team shop this year, but only walked out with the franz jersey, 1 hat, and two items for my nephew. Felt bad when I took him to the Philly game and couldn't even buy him our teams merch. Now he understands my struggles.

 

Hot take but Luka flopping around the court like a fish out of water really makes it hard for me to appreciate his actual skills lol

this is how i feel about a lot of star players. I also wasn't shy about calling him out specifically in games where he wouldn't get back on defense because he was jawing at the ref. too many guys in the league do this and until they actually penalize it, it's not going anywhere.

I would be shocked if LeBron opted to just retire, rather than announcing that he's about to play his last season so he can have a proper farewell tour kind of thing. That's why it's funny every time he's like "I might be done" after getting knocked out of the playoffs.
