My fav day of the year continues to be the last day of the Lakers season.

 

It really was a crazy season. Paolo's 50 point game, the home win streak, the injuries, and the awful shooting. Seeing Franz level up was my favorite part, even if his injury timing cost him a shot at his first ASG. Hopefully he can work on getting rid of the hitch that's returned to his shooting stroke the last two years this summer.

The overall three point shooting woes are interesting, because nearly everyone on the roster shot a worse percentage this year than last, and a lot of those misses were pretty open. They need a real PG first and foremost, and I'd love to see a veteran assistant coach with an offensive specialty added to Mosley's staff. But also some better shooters. Having Paolo or Franz bring the ball up is why they're near the bottom in pace, and that gives defenses more time to set up.

I'm also nervous about Paolo's extension. I think he's gonna sign, but their payroll will start getting a lot messier with two maxes and Suggs' deal. On a lighter note, they're apparently finally rolling out new unis and logos next year!
