Paolo picking up his 5th pretty much broke their spirit. So it goes. Hopefully this finally forces Weltman to make some moves to address their offensive woes this summer. The money is gonna get really tight soon assuming Paolo signs a max extension.

Well my fellow Magic fans (Argus/Wandering/anyone else I'm forgetting), it's been a weird year. Start off promising with a 50 point Paolo showing and longest home court win streak in NBA, but it just couldnt last long. Paolo goes down. We are still some how rolling. Franz down. Some thrilling games in there, but came out short. Mo poof gone for season. Same for Suggs. Paolo comes back, but rusty for 2 months. Franz back in action and pretty much on par. Those two just couldnt carry the team.
Not sure what I'm expecting this offseason, but Im not a fan who is going to place the entire blame on Weltman. KCP, JI, WCJ, Cole, Harris all had so many open looks this season and get paid to make those shots. Sure, a mid-season trade would have been amazing and we are paying WCJ too much, but again someone else needed to step up. I hope we can grab a true PG this offseason and some shooters. Nervous to see if Paolo signs that max extension and sticks around or if he kind of see's this team not making moves and wants to leave.
Will continue to watch and support next season, but it seems like we are basically right where we were a year ago. Close, but not close enough.

Lets go Pistons! Really dislike the Knicks since all my local friends are Knicks fans. If I'm not winning, you arent either.

i’m hoping the pistons pull it off because, while i think the knicks have the better chance of the two (still no real chance) of beating boston, i think detroit would make it hell on boston physically and with jrue already missing time and tatum and brown banged up, giving them another rock fight series vs. a series with a team that has two stars that seem afraid to play basic basketball, is the best recipe for cleveland making it out of the east

I am of the belief that the Pistons present the worst matchup of the two. The Celtics beat the Knicks by an average of 2849274 points this year.

 

I think the Cavs have it no matter what.

 

How clearly defined the Knicks ceiling has been this season has been kind of a bummer lol

I remember watching Giannis get in Malik Beasley’s face, dance over him and troll him after a regular season win just a couple weeks ago. “Win with class.” Guy is annoying. Just be thankful for KD’s toe lol
