Atlanta Hawks - Quin Snyder - Pretty good coach, bad roster
Boston Celtics - Joe Mazzulla - Kind of in the Kerr in the mid 2010s spot where he has moments of greatness and moments of wtf are you doing but the roster is so good it doesn't matter, will probably develop into a great coach regardless of the roster
Brooklyn Nets - Jordi Fernandez - Roster makes this impossible to tell
Charlotte Hornets - Charles Lee - Too soon to tell
Chicago Bulls - Billy Donovan - Bad coach
Cleveland Cavaliers - Kenny Atkinson - Good almost great coach
Dallas Mavericks - Jason Kidd - Like, fine I guess. Seems like a bozo but there are much worse
Denver Nuggets - David Adelman - Too soon to tell. Malone seems like he was a very good borderline great coach but also seemed like an asshole and not great enough to overcome how annoying he was
Detroit Pistons - J.B. Bickerstaff - Very good coach
Golden State Warriors - Steve Kerr - Top 3 coach
Houston Rockets - Ime Udoka - Good almost great coach
Indiana Pacers - Rick Carlisle - Kind of in the Malone territory where he's very good borderline great but seems like a difficult asshole. They're winning now though so it isn't more trouble than it's worth yet
Los Angeles Clippers - Ty Lue - Top 3 coach
Los Angeles Lakers - J.J. Redick - Too soon to tell
Memphis Grizzlies - Tuomas Iisalo - Too soon to tell. Jenkins seemed like a pretty good coach in an impossible situation with a flawed roster
Miami Heat - Erik Spoelstra - Top 3 coach but very odd season and I wouldn't be surprised if the leash is tightening a bit
Milwaukee Bucks - Doc Rivers - Dead man walking
Minnesota Timberwolves - Chris Finch - Good almost great coach
New Orleans Pelicans - Willie Green - Bad coach
New York Knicks - Tom Thibodeau - Obviously a very good borderline great coach but at what cost
Oklahoma City Thunder - Mark Daigneault - In the group of four or five outside of the top 3 that is a clear great coach with an insanely loaded roster so it's a little hard to judge too positively
Orlando Magic - Jamahl Mosely - Pretty good coach, flawed roster
Philadelphia 76ers - Nick Nurse - How some people talk about Kerr without actually being anywhere close to as good as Kerr
Phoenix Suns - No Coach - Wow! Budenholzer is in the Nick Nurse zone but I feel bad for him because he was in an impossible situation vs. there being no reason to feel bad for Nurse
Portland Trail Blazers - Chauncey Billups - Impossible to tell
Sacramento Kings - Doug Christie - Bad coach. Mike Brown deserved better
San Antonio Spurs - Gregg Popovich - Obviously an all-timer, probably should have retired a decade ago?
Toronto Raptors - Darko Rajakovic - Impossible to tell
Utah Jazz - Will Hardy - Pretty good coach, bad roster
Washington Wizards - Brian Keefe - Never heard of this man before in my life
