i think if philly was being honest with themselves they’d jump at the chance to upgrade from embiid

Why was that review allowed but the Pistons one wasn’t? My kinda hot take continues to be that I kinda hate all the reviews in general and it slows the game way down. But Pistons getting jobbed and then them having the ability to use it here is … a weird look.

 

It’s infuriating.

 

The Wolves had a challenge still and challenged the call.

Not sure if the Pistons had a challenge or not, but even if they did, they can’t challenge a no call.

But yeah, the replay system is broken if we’re going to let fucked up calls sway an entire playoff series. If the goal is to get crucial calls right, the league needs to step in and allow certain things to get challenged in the final minute of a game - something as simple as the NBA already using the blue light to review twos vs threes that does not require a team to challenge.
