To be honest, I don’t think the Bucks will actually trade Giannis. They’re gonna attempt to retool again. I actually kind of like this trade and would stand behind it. The Bucks get younger and a few guys who can actually defend and score. The heat can finally realize their dreams of getting Lillard, plus Ayo is a guy to have in the rotation who fits the culture. Bulls get to inch closer toward tanking (which is why the Bulls would never do it).

in this current spot for the league, picks have more value than the players being swapped for a super star. milwaukee isn’t going to take a trade where the picks they’re getting are coming from the best team in the league and the team they’re trading giannis to and giannis isn’t going to want to play for a team where his second best player is worse than mid 30s with a blood clot dame. this isn’t me just being a bucks homer, im at the point where ive accepted hes going to be traded probably sooner rather than later. but all the reporting is that there isnt a team with a real chance to do it unless he requests a trade and tanks his value a bit. GSW, dallas and the knicks were possibilities before they recently made their big trades. brooklyn has the picks but their current roster is worse than milwaukee’s without giannis. miami has no picks other than their own. NOLA has the picks but it would require moving zion which a) idk the bucks would be interested in and b) would leave their roster in a similarly worse off place than milwaukee’s and giannis further from a championship. i could have seen OKC if they somehow flamed out early in the playoffs but that didn’t happen.

the only three actual realistic teams i could see pulling it off are philly, san antonio and orlando

Orlando I could see. San Antonio and Philly? Not sure I see the argument for those teams. Philly would have to part with one of Embiid, Maxey, or PG. PG or Maxey for Giannis would leave Philly with Embiid and Giannis… which would theoretically fit only since Embiid is always injured and they’d never have to share the floor together. Wemby and Giannis could work since Wemby can space the floor a bit and could probably adapt to playing with anyone, but then they’d probably have to give up all the supporting cast that they’ve acquired to build around Wemby. I’m curious what you had in mind with those teams.

I don’t think the Heat’s dream of Lillard is still a thing

Coby White would be the best piece of this trade, they could easily get a better return for him, if he’s even available.

but the Bulls front office is one of the dumbest league I guess

Turnovers going to be the Pistons downfall just like the last game. Good fucking lord.

They are way too hyped up at home versus on the road.
