the clippers have been better than the nugs for like two months running, I do not see that changing

Very small sample size but they look like a completely different team after the Malone firing. I don't know if it'll be sustainable, but I feel very confident that if they play like that, they will be able to handle the Clippers easily. Again, very big if!

Idk if they’re going to handedly beat the clips even playing at their best lol. The clippers have been humming and a fully healthy Kawhi… good luck. Zubac also has been incredible all season.

Would love to see the Clippers make an actual run, and they have a great storyline in an OKC matchup.

But I like Jokic as a player more than anyone on the Clippers, he’s just that much better than anyone. Would be a bummer to see him out in the first round, Nuggets would definitely have to make major changes.

I would still take the Nuggets starting 5 over almost anyone in the league except for OKC and Cleveland, IF!!!, they play the way they are capable of. They just need to get hot at the right time. A healthy Aaron Gordon will go a long way towards that

Jokic is not only the best player out there, he’s more fun than most to watch. Including a (miraculously) healthy Kawhi. As much as I’d love to see the Clippers make a run, I’d rather keep watching Jokic.

It's like...10x worse than the Mookie Betts saga in Baseball, and Boston fans still haven't let that go. I can't imagine how Dallas is gonna retain a single season ticket holder next year.

Absolutely hate the late start times in playoff basketball

9pm start times should be abolished

A few of my friends who had partial season tickets for the last like decade all cancelled. It's not looking good for the Dumont's at least in the short term. They already fucked up a TV deal and are on track to lose upwards of 9 figures because of it. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the quickest purchase->sell turnaround in sports history. They had no idea what they were getting into, and they allowed a bumbling idiot shoe salesman to blow it all up.

I mean, I'm praying we get annihilated tonight so they have even more reason to fire Nico outside of what he's already done. Throw Kidd in there too please.

you can add me to the list of magic fans. I mostly lurk so I’m not sure it can be said that I’m fully “in this thread”.

I’m not looking forward to the Boston series. It will be physical and I don’t know how many times I can stomach watching Boston get in the bonus 5 minutes into each quarter with how prone we are to fouls (also, I’ve been told refs call everything for the Celtics so there’s that /s). I don’t know shit about the dynamics of developing a well rounded offense but I know for sure being the shittiest 3pt team in the league will be a huge issue for us. Even if we limit Boston’s 3 pt game, they still have enough game inside the paint to make these games a slog for our defense. Boston lost 3 games the entirety of the playoffs last season so I’d expect, best case, the magic take it to 5 games.

Hooray for 2 consecutive appearances in the playoffs, though, I guess.

    Die rad.

Lets atleast make it a 7 game series then like we did first round last season. Obviously this season will be a bust and not meet expectations if we lose again first round, but if we make it to 7 games against the champs and were missing Paolo and or Franz for half the games this season, Ill try to convince myself there is hope.
