i do think the lakers are going to absolutely contend

they’ve been unreal since the trade. they’ll obviously get attacked in the paint against almost anyone but their offense is insane

 

yeah as the doncic / james chemistry heats up they’ll be a force to be reckoned with

 

I’m talking mostly from a pre-Luka standpoint since LeBron got there. They do seem to be legit with Luka

Lol I’m not terribly worked up about it. It was a regular season game. Shit happens. Gonna be a fun playoff series.

 

I wouldn’t be worked up about it either. I fully expected to lose last night - and wouldn’t have been bothered by it. These are very clearly the two best teams in the East and one/two games in February isn’t going to change anything.

 

Honestly the only thing that bugs me is their weird struggles at home.

Quentin Grimes is on one right now. 34 points with about halfway left in the third. Career high is 36.

He's also shooting 88% from the floor.

 

Hell of a game for Grimes. Yabu, Oubre, and Drummond were great, too, with PG closing it out.

Maxey is battling through it - that sprained finger is definitely affecting his shooting.

Damn Magic lost to Toronto. Not a great 1st home Magic game to go to, but it was close and I got to sit courtside.
