The Ringer did on an article on potential expansion, talking about which players teams would protect. Thought it would be fun to see what people thought.

 

I mostly agreed with Pina for the Heat but I'd switch Davion Mitchell for Kyle Anderson. So my list would be

Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith, Andrew Wiggins, Kel’el Ware, Nikola Jovic, Davion Mitchell

I watched on the League Pass app, so I got to hear Steele and Turner. It's kinda funny hearing them discuss the poor shooting game after game. "The top has to come off the basket sometime." And yeah, their starts have been bad.

I can't deny his playmaking ability could be very beneficial, but he's actually a below-average 3 point shooter by percentage. He shoots a ton, and some from way behind the line, but he's not as proficient as he's perceived to be.

 

I hate this fucking front office so much. This just confirms that he won't get any kind of acknowledgment when Lakers play in Dallas in April. They literally can't stop embarrassing themselves.
