This is the first time in years I haven't bothered to watch the actual All Star Game, and it probably won't be the last.

there's just so much uncomfortable airtime during the broadcast too, like idk what they're thinking with all this

 

I have been watching the SNL 50 special since 8 pm and every single commercial break (over 20 at this point) I have turned it over to the NBA All Star game and not once was basketball being played.

 

I had to turn it off. Was boring me with so little actual basketball.

 

You can feel how desperate the league is getting. They’re flailing.

 

why don’t they just have a 3pt contest, dunk contest, and east / west game with some nba finals implications and call it a friggin day?

 

I don’t want finals implications tied to the all star game, but yea why not just return to basics? I don’t think I’m ever expecting a competitive game. I just want to see NBA players doing globe trotter shit for a game.

Probably will fast forward through this but yeah the problem is these guys are all too friendly to be competitive with each other. They should just cancel it for a few years maybe then the audience will miss it. Give these guys a week off
