I think what gets lost in a lot of this is we went so long without success and we had a generational guy like Dirk for 20 years that we were just happy to get to experience. A ring I think would be great, but we thought we had another Dirk situation with Luka and were really invested, I don't think it really mattered to a lot of us if we ever won the big one with him, but the journey was fucking exciting regardless.

 

but it's done, and I still support these guys on the squad because they didn't ask for this and deserve our respect. I truly don't believe Nico will experience another day of peace in Dallas as long as he's involved. Is what it is.
