Honestly I've gotten pretty over the Fox era, just have gotten the sense he's not all-in on this team, which now is clear, and he's let that affect his play for a while. Also I don't think his general nonchalance about the whole enterprise of being a superstar is super conducive to leading a winning team.

I'm happy for him to be getting what he wants and happy that the Kings are pulling the rip cord on paying him a super max. Feels like the right call here, down to let it ride on centering this team around Sabonis who I absolutely adore and get a fun new piece in Lavine. 6 picks is great and if this doesn't work in the next year and change blow it up no harm no foul
