I don’t necessarily agree with the takes saying even if the Mavs win 3 titles this will still be a bad trade because trades ultimately get viewed in hindsight, and that’s the goal of any sports league, to win championship, however, that’s just not going to happen with oft-unavailable and aging Kyrie and AD as your core so I won’t even entertain that notion. The funniest thing to me in all of this is the brain dead Mavs GM literally gaslighting everyone by saying “defense wins championships” as if his team wasn’t just LITERALLY IN THE FINALS LAST YEAR. Idc that they lost, that Celtics team was going to destroy whoever they faced (even a Mavs team with AD instead of Luka) because they were far and away the best team last year.
