Trading Luka within itself is already a terrible decision but to not even maximize the asset is what makes it genuinely horrific

 

Would also be good to talk to Luka about it in the first place. He’s given a lot to the city of Dallas. Get an idea where he’d want to go and do right by him. I’m sure he’ll love LA and that’d be his desired spot but it’s about the principle of it too

I used to always believe that if a trade guarantees you a championship it's a good trade in the end and this (even though I DO NOT think it wins the Mavericks a championship in any way) has completely changed my mind on it just because it's so irrational that it cannot possibly ever be good
