Not surprised. If Jimmy declines his last year, they’ll have like $50m clear off the books next summer. Plus they could always try to sign and trade.

yeah i was gonna say the statement is kinda a nothing burger when the news was (that i heard) specifically that jimmy wants out. that could still very well be true but they just arent going to deal him.

 

The thing is he never demanded a trade and all of the local guys said he was never going to do so and would be fine playing the season out. Shams was borderline line trying to say that was going to happen.
