Time Trial today - Pogacar's best chance of getting the yellow jersey back I think

Had to stay out of this thread because I fell a day behind and didn't want to spoil anything for myself.

Insane showing from Jonas the last few days. Shame that Tadej wasn't able to keep the pace.

(haven't watched today's stage yet though)

Yeah Jonas has been riding out of his mind the last several days; couldn't believe how much he blew away Tadej on the time trial. Then to see Tadej absolutely bonk out at the beginning of the climb yesterday was crazy to see. Some were speculating that the crash at the beginning might have affected his nutrition intake/management on the ride, but who really knows. On that podcast show with Lance Armstrong he mentioned how Tadej isn't using the team manager he used for his two tour victories, both last year and this year, which could also be a factor in his performance this tour. Regardless, Jumbo is the biggest team with the most funding, so I'm sure they have the best coaches and nutritionists working for them, but also, Jonas is just a beast overall; high-end diesel engine for a body, that just goes and goes.

Yeah, couldn't believe Tadej beat WvA by a minute+ and still lost by another minute+ to Jonas lol. Hard to imagine a more perfect TT.

Feels like Jonas/JV are just perfectly built for races like this when they're in form.
