  1. Russ is also younger than Rodgers. And that trade provides teams with evidence that paying that much for an old QB is very risky.

  2. @Joe4th just a nudge since the last post was buried by my bad trade

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Lions select Tyree Wilson, DE Texas Tech

Just keep improving the defense. Pair Wilson with Hutch. Still felt to early to address the secondary mess. Wilson can improve a young d-line and force more pressure on the QB and in turn help mask our bad secondary.

  5. Green Bay Packers select Paris Johnson Jr, OT, Ohio State

With the trade of Rodgers, the Packers have begun their offensive rebuild. Adding the top tackle prospect in the draft is a good way to start that rebuild.

  6. 8. Atlanta Falcons select Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

Where to begin with this defense, my god. It's quite bad at every level. I considered going front seven but I'm going what I think is BPA right now. Witherspoon is the best corner in the draft. Move Casey Heyward to the slot or free safety.

    9. Arizona Cardinals select Peter Skoronski, OL, Northwestern

Boy do I hate the Cardinals offensive line. People are going to go through the usual "his arms are too small to play tackle" thing. That's fine, Cardinals need a guard too. Skoronski, like the last big Northwestern OL, is the best overall OL in the draft.

    10. Philadelphia Eagles select Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia

James Bradberry is an impending free agent. Darius Slay is 32. The last time the Eagles invested greater than a fourth round pick on a CB in the draft was 2017 when they spent a second and a third in Sidney Jones and Rasul Douglas. It’s time to get serious about getting younger at CB. Bringing in guys like Zech McPhearson, Josh Jobe, Tay Gowan, and Kary Vincent in recent years just isn’t going to cut it. Hopefully Ringo will. Honestly, just take any first-round caliber of CB here so long as they’re a corner please and thank you.

    Why does PFF hate Ringo?

The Draft Network has Ringo ranked as their 25th best player in this draft. I have reached and will never recover

PFF has him down in like the 40s and whenever I take him they have me a F on the pick haha. Like it feels personal at this point.

Also, Russ hasn’t been good since the first half of the 2020 season. We do not have to go over this again

  14. Tennessee Titans select Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

Titans OL turned into a bit of a disaster last season. Jones is good.

With the 12th pick the Houston Texans select Myles Murphy, ED, Clemson

Demeco Ryans gets his first drafted defensive building block to add to a young defense that includes Derek Stingley, Jalen Pitre and Chrisitan Harris. Murphy will instantly bolster a defensive line that needs immediate impact. No brainer pick.

With the 13th pick, the New York Jets select:

Brian Branch - Safety - Alabama

Day 1 starter at safety and nickel backer.

Didn’t love the value at OT so went BPA here.

Saleh can line up Branch at both safety spots, the slot, or linebacker. He’s a chess piece - reminds me of Tyrann Mathieu in a lot of ways.
