In no world would the Packers trade Rodgers and a first for just a first and two seconds lol

 

I mean, moving up that far is worth a first and maybe more.

 

He’s 38, making 50m and coming off a bad season. If he says he wants to be traded that’s a good return.

 

Didn’t Rodgers and the Packers start turning it around on offense in the last two months of the season?

 

Veto on the trade.

 

I just know that trade would be laughed at by fans and analysts alike. It would be a highway robbery for the Raiders after how they bungled the Carr situation

 

I think it's fine. He's old, a pain in the ass, expensive, and could retire whenever

 

He’d be the 3rd best, potentially the worst, QB in his division after the trade. I just think it’s dreamland for Packers and fans to expect multiple firsts for him. In this trade they move up to a premium pick and get two other good picks.

 

If the majority wants a veto I won’t fight it lol

but I think there’s a 0% chance he plays in his 40s. Raiders are paying for 1-2 years of him maybe being good while making a ton of money.

He’ll probably go for a first. When you combine how far they move up and the two seconds, that’s more value than a first.

I’m not even saying the Packers should expect multiple firsts. I think it’s wild that anyone thinks the Packers should swap firsts with the Raiders and get two seconds in return for Rodgers. It would never happen

 

I don’t care how the trade affects the chorus for fm draft. I’m just speaking in general

 

I feel like that trade could’ve been done without the Packers giving a first back lol

Do I personally think Rodgers is worth that at this age and after learning how much of an ass he is, no, but it’s Rodgers. One team that’s been envious of him forever will overpay. I would NOT be shocked if the Raiders wanted him for pick 7 and two seconds straight up, and had wishful thinking he’d go back to 105+ QB rating seasons with Davante and Waller

 

I’m with Swoos that the return for Rodgers is gonna be lower than expected.

 

However I’m not gonna veto it. It’s a mock draft. Packers giving a first back doesn’t ruin the mock

 

I’m of the opinion that almost all teams will lowball but it only takes one team to not look at it that way

 

And if the Packers are good at bluffing they’ll get that team to think they are competing with another offer and overpay

 

Like, there’s someone out there I bet who thinks they can do exactly with Rodgers what TB did with Brady

And if a team truly honestly believes that, they’ll think anything less than two firsts is a bargain

 

I know it’s Rodgers but two firsts for him would be idiotic imo haha

Not saying a team won’t do it. The Jets are certainly desperate. But that is crazy.

 

I just think #15 being in there gives the optics that the Packers sold low. But the total value of what they net in the trade is greater than a first rounder. So I don’t think the total value is far off from reality. It just looks weird.

 

Currently reflecting on how Russ went for two firsts and two seconds even though he’s an ass and has looked bad for a longer amount of time recently than Rodgers has

 

well, he didn’t look bad BEFORE the trade lol. The Seahawks were smart and didn’t wait for that to happen. It also wasn’t that apparent (at least from my view) how much of an ass Russ can be until recently haha

 

I think it’s funny the Jags rigged both trades and contracts
