Oh I agree. I think their window is closer to 2024/2025 but they are definitely a scary team with some more pitching.

 

Yeah complete agree. Was surprised they didn’t add any veterans to the team to help with the rookies. Not even breaking the bank to sign a high profile FA but some solid clubhouse veterans.

The only guys I know they added were players the Red Sox cut from their 40 man roster and Kyle Gibson.

Nah no interest in reading about the Astros cheating anymore. It’s been beaten like a trash can at this point.

But if you read anything interesting please pass it on. I think I heard the Dodgers were caught stealing signs during the 2018 playoffs/WS and that’s in the book.

 

Fair but it’s not about the sign stealing actually so much as the problems with institutional culture both in Houston and leaguewide; doesn’t take a myopic view and like you said it sounds like other teams are taken to task. I know there’s a chapter or more about my team specifically (STL) that isn’t all peachy, which makes sense given that Luhnow broke into baseball with the Cardinals.
