It, the website, doesn’t crash. Your browser does from not having enough memory to deal with Elon’s badly coded embeds that leak memory now. Might have to disable them. The iPhone’s safari handles them best. But, removing those awful ads definitely also helps keep a lower memory footprint to start. And the ads suck.

 

Can confirm that the site works much better on mobile in safari than chrome. I hate that I still use chrome anyway lol (hangover from my android days plus I still generally prefer it for some things on my mac too)

and like, if tweets don’t load I just try to see it as the universe telling me to logoff lol

 

On my PC, tweets take like 5+ seconds to load on Firefox, but seem to have no problem with Chrome.

If it’s just included with prime then this actually saves me money since I don’t pay for cable. And I hate paying for mlbtv AND have to fuss with finding the right vpn to trick mlbtv into thinking I’m not geographically near Tampa Bay.

From what I understand, this does nothing to disrupt the broadcasting rights for Bally and so far the reporting makes it sound like anyone who has Bally in their television package can continue to watch it like normal. Not sure how this limits accessibility since it’s not exclusive to Amazon.
