I was legit wondering why a bunch of dodgers players were at the golden globes lol

 

They figured they have a better shot at winning a Golden Globe than a WS title.

 

I honestly keep forgetting that the mustache-twirling Dodgers whose cartoonish off season escapades I keep hearing about on the TV and on the social media pages is the same Dodgers in my city that I’ll be able to go watch play live a few times this year. Excited to go to the ballpark and watch actual Dodger fans complain because the Dodgers are only in first by 10 games near the All Star break and not 40.

That reminds me, last Dodger game I went to, I was ordering some food and I saw a lady not-so-discreetly reach over the counter and steal a tall can of beer and try to casually walk back to her seats with it.

A Dodgers worker noticed and was like “hey…excuse me…” and the lady tried to play it cool, walking at the perfect speed where it was as fast you can go to get away but as slow as you can go to avoid being suspicious. Lol.

Rays current rotation if they go with a 5-man:

Eflin, Civale, Littell, Baz, Pepiot

Bradley, Devenski, or T Anderson can fit into a 6 man rotation (the Rays expressed interest in having Devenski/Anderson stretch out to multi innings/bulk), but Littell will be limited having just converted to starting last year, Baz is coming off TJS, and Pepiot hasn’t pitched more than 100 innings since 2021 minor leagues.

Bring. Me. Uwasawa. Dude has pitched 160 or more for 3 straight seasons. Ground ball pitcher with interesting shapes for his breaking stuff and good vertical movement for his fastball.

 

tldr rays should not be done making moves for starting pitching depth

 

And the Rays will still win 96 games with that rotation and without Franco
