this is, in a weird way, fan service for Mets fans? isn't this what the WFAN crowd has been saying for ~13 months (or like, ten years)?

 

anyway Tommy Pham is my favorite former Cardinal still I think, despite his flaws

 

i think hes saying that the 2023 mets are a better team than the d-backs but way too many dudes in that locker room (not hard to imagine who hes referring to...) just "didnt want it" enough and didnt care to put in the work. just expected good things to happen.

he just seems like a real dude who sometimes gets too heated about fantasy football but who amongst us hasnt

the one thing about Tommy is that he seems to be incapable of lying, sugarcoating, rationalizing, etc. so if he says that about the Mets I believe it, especially since when he was on the Cardinals his thing was always "you don't have to be in the gym at 4 am like me to earn my respect but you gotta care a little" or something like that. so it's not like he holds teammates to an impossibly high standard. just Joc Pederson and/or seedy dudes in strip club parking lots

 

anyway, speaking of: my buddy is in vegas and had some free credits on some sportsbook app lfg

 

Rays shoulda traded for him so he could run it back he was still hungry after the 2019 alds
