Bloom said he wasn’t going to mortgage the farm for a rental. It was a seller’s market and they were looking for SPer with years of control, price tag was probably too high for their liking for the position they are in in the standings.

They are getting Story back this weekend and Sale, Whitlock and Houck in the next few weeks. Hopefully they can be effective and help push them over the top.

I wish they had gotten a SPer to help until Sale/Whitlock and Houck got back. Even if it was a back end guy so they wouldn’t have to do pen games 2 out of 5 games.
