Don’t forget this is the same organization that traded for Chapman in late December of 2015, when less than 3 weeks earlier it was known there was DV issue that happened in October 2015 (the Dodgers were in an agreement to trade for him but backed out once the news broke) and then the very next offseason gave him a 5 year $86 million dollar contract.
