It’s also not that big of a problem. If you have a position player that can pitch a little and the leading team wants to use him in the 9th with an 8 run lead, I don’t think the league should force a relief pitcher to waste pitches in garbage time.

 

There was nothing worse when it came to attending an MLB and seeing Jamie Moyer starting for the opposition. Good pitcher, but dude was so slow.

 

Moyer threw slow but I don't remember him being a particularly slow worker. I just watched a random inning from 2010 and he seemed fine

I figured the issue would be getting hit around a lot making the game drag due to baserunners/scoring

unless you mean watching him sucked because he threw slow in terms of velocity, which yeah true

Fine with him missing the WBC really so I'm not even mad. Two weeks is no big deal now. I genuinely don't care about the WBC. Care about the season

 

Runner on 2nd should start in 12th inning.

DH should be AL only.

Playoffs should be 5 teams per league.

Interleague games should be minimal. Not playing everyone.

Love the minimum outs pitcher rule for relievers.

Indifferent on shift.

Steroid guys should be in hall of fame.

All star game should decide home field.

Mlb should penalize teams like the pirates. Relegation system 100%. Too many shit teams ruining the league.

Don't expand league unless relegation system exists. Charlotte, Montreal, Portland, Vegas get teams if expand or move

Love the idea of relegation, absolutely love it but it'll never happen. Those are the four best markets for expansion and no others should be under consideration, you nailed it. (I'd order the candidates Portland, Montreal, Charlotte, Vegas from best to worst tho)

 

Still looking for thoughts on bigger bases/limited throw overs combo tho (push and good respectively for me)

They should absolutely say that if you lose more than 90 games twice in a running five year period you forfeit competitive balance payout the next year. Unlikely that it ever happens but short of relegation something like that is the way to go. I'd be fine with doing away with competitive balance payouts even tho the team I root for benefits (but still runs a top 10 payroll almost all years and notably has had I think one losing season this millennium). But not happening.
