Yeah the basketball thing is 100x worse obviously. It's wild that it's all happening at once. I also want more details but given how things went down I can't see how it could've been anything other than him putting in a big ole bet on LSU like a dumbass dummy as soon as he decided to scratch his starter. Even if it was just Bohannon being singularly stupid it doesn't paint a great picture of the athletics program right now. Can Saban coach baseball too? Remember reading once that he hit well over .400 in high school in WV lol...

It's not like the bar in baseball was set high, so I'm sure Saban can rally the team with a "back in my playing days" lecture or whatever. I'd actually be in favor of this happening. How hard can it be to coach college baseball? Just don't fucking gamble. lol

I half-joked with my old roommate the other day how I'm totally checking out from Bama athletics once Saban retires.

 

It just sucks because it feels like more people have gotten into college ball recently and this automatically gonna be the biggest story of the year beside whoever wins the CWS in a few months.

Saban ain't retiring man he's dying on the job, even if the job by then is technically called special assistant to the AD or whatever. For that matter why not just make him the fucking AD right now

I've played quite a bit. I have 145 of the set 1 cards and got the 700 homer Babe Ruth. Completed 12 or so of the live series teams so far, really the only other thing I care about this year is completing the live series and getting the Mcgwire, Sosa and Jeter live collection cards
