The Mets are a mess. They're doing the stupid thing of just spending lots of money without any coherent strategy and it shows.

 

NL East rivals imploding is what I live for.

 

i dont think they spent with no strategy, but they did fail to secure decent back up options in the event of exactly what is happening. i guess you could lump that into strategizing, but having to have a spot starter every go through the rotation isn't going to get you anywhere.
