What are your guys thoughts on dropping the Cowboys Defense at this point? Next 4: Eagles, Bills, Dolphins, Lions.

Number 1 defense but they haven't been great against good teams. Thinking of snagging the Packers/Jaguars to stream against the Panthers in the playoffs.

 

I also have them and unsure what to do. They have brutal matchups and aren't good against good teams. But also, there's like no good options available lol

 

I was looking ahead and the Packers have the Panthers week 16 and Jags have the Panthers week 17.

Houston also has a good stretch from now through week 17.

 

For you guys frustrated in head to head leagues- what we do in my big $$ league (12 teams) is weeks 1, 13, and 14 we do "Battle Royale", where only the top 6 teams in points that week get the win. Obviously 11 other teams so you play each team once, plus the three Battle Royale weeks is the 14 total weeks. Not perfect, but something fun to mix it up

 

I need to drop Dell and there’s literally nobody on the wire even worth picking up

 

Who are your options?

 

Someone dropped Justin Tucker due to Ravens bye and while I’m vehemently against holding two kickers, I may go for him just to screw over someone else.

 

I like Shaheed & JSN. The best games of Elijah Moore’s career have come with Flacco playing QB. I think Mingo just had his best game of the season this past week.

but yeah nothing overwhelmingly positive there lol

 

I have DK so don’t like going for JSN. Hard enough to start 1 SEA WR, haha. Shaheed is whatever. These are guys I would never consider starting at this point of the season.

 

You might as well just keep Dell for moral support

 

I'd def pick up like half those guys with no hesitation lol just because you arent gonna start them doesnt mean you shouldnt stash em

 

Take Zay, a Packers WR, or Elijah Moore imo

Kirk is going likely going to be out for the remainder of the fantasy season so Zay will take WR2 role, Christian Watson has another hamstring injury and their QB is ascending, and Cooper has a concussion if you just want a week flier.

 

I was thinking maybe Reed but he’s battling an injury too

 

If Wicks is available he might be a good one. He’s apparently most likely to take Watson’s role.

I’ve put in a claim for him in both leagues where I had Dell if my first choice doesn’t go through. Cooks is available in one and I’m trying for Zay in another.

 

got the number 1 seed in my work league this week baby, but im playing a guy who has won like four weeks in a row. so this will be interesting.

in my other league got another two weeks left of the regular season but I basically have to win out I think to make the playoffs

 

Clinched playoffs in both of my leagues. Currently in 1st in one but only a game ahead of 2nd and locked into third in the other.

 

I would pass away in joy if Downs, Goedert, Reed, Dillon, JSN, etc, were there for me lol

But I do play in a 12 team, 3 WR, deeper bench so I get it not every league is the same haha

This has been my worst year of fantasy in a longgg time. I don't have one team that I feel like is in contention. One team is already completely eliminated, one team that I need to win this week to clinch but it's just not a great team. COULD make some noise but would need some players to step up and not be disappointments like most of their season has been. one I need one of those miracle "I win, two other teams lose" to get in. That team could make noise if they actually get in, but the odds are low. And then my last team, the 16 teamer, I'm gonna be in the playoffs but as a 7 or 8 seed in all likelyhood and I've lost both Nick Chubb and Tank Dell. Just really hard for a team to come back from that, especially in a 16 teamer.

On the flip side, the NFFC best ball teams I did this year are both in contention to win the leagues, which would be a decent pay day. Those leagues pay out $800 to first, $300 to second, $100 to third. If my teams keep doing what they're doing, I'd be on track to finish 1st in one and 2nd in another. My one team was in contention for the top spot overall for a bunch of weeks ($30K prize to first), even hit #1 overall at one point in like week 5 or 6, but that team also lost Nick Chubb and has come back down to earth a little bit with some of the guys who were overperforming early. My QB room on that team really fell apart too with Fields/Carr/Jimmy G

 

Oh yeah just checked that team again, REALLY got some great performances early that have tapered off or disappeared all toegther, and some injuries. Puka fell back to erath a bunch, Bourne got hurt after getting hot, and I got some random spike weeks from other WRs early on (like Mims and Johnson in Denver) that have stopped happening

 

I was able to trade for Pittman jr, and I sent out Ridley/ford

I’m pretty over Ridley getting me either .9 points or 18, and while ford has been consistent he’s usually just been a bye fill in for the year. Pairing Pittman/chase is gonna be lit

 

Went with Colts defense. They have a favorable ROS schedule … bummed to drop Dallas

 

Need a miracle from Seattle defense to shut down CMC and Purdy to give me a shot at the playoffs
