Pollard is RB24 so far this year in 0.5 ppr leagues

he just isnt getting the TDs. That will likely regress back to the mean.

 

lol well I don’t think Kyler for Olave trade is going to go through. She hasn’t texted me back about it after initially saying she was interested. I’m bummed this league hasn’t been as active this year. There have been no trades at all.

 

Also should I try to claim Likely as someone who has Andrews? I went ahead and grabbed Friermuth earlier in the week before Andrews got hurt and Pat was activated to have during the Ravens bye though. I feel like Likely hasn’t really shown up much when he’s stepped in though.

 

I was listening to Matthew Berry in the car last night, and he said that last year when Andrews was out, Likely had a 24% target share. Now, that probably won't continue considering they have better WRs this year, but still. I think it might be worth a claim if you have a spot

 

Last minute trade advice as our deadline is tonigut at midnight.

Keeper league, my RB room is pretty deep, my WRs not so much. Currently have AJ Brown, Dj Moore, and Adam Theilen as my starters and no real bench (Noah Brown, Palmer on IR). My RBs are Aaron Jones, Raheem Mostert, Devon Achane, Javonte Williams, DOnta Foreman, and couple other inconsequential guys for now.

Told the league I was looking to swap an RB for a WR. Got offered Terry McLaurin ($11 to keep) for Javonte Williams (also $11 to keep). I told him I wasn’t feeling it too much because Terry had a week 14 bye and I’m
Gonna need that dub that week to get into the playoffs. So he offered to throw in either Doubs or Jayden Reed as well to help cover that week 14 bye if need be.

what do you guys think? Loving the volume Javonte’s been getting lately, but do need the WR help.

 

....though I just looked at the WR rankings in our league, it's full PPR....I legit had no idea DJ Moore and Adam Thielen were the 8th and 9th highest scoring WRs this year lol. Wild.

I mean I guess that means I DON'T need the WR help as much as I thought? But they just feel so inconsistent and untrustworthy.

Edit-Guy just told me he'd also be willing to do Dionte Johnson instead of Terry if Terry's bye week bothers me too much. His keeper price is $21 so not sure I'd keep him at that price, but who knows. This is more about this year anyway.

I think I'm having trouble trusting Theilen haha, which is why I'm considering it. But Javonte has been a volume monster the last few weeks, just not sure if I like giving him up with all my other RBs being split backfield guys

Got achane coming back from IR

do I drop Ridley or cooks? I’m kinda leaning Ridley since dude has been cheeks the last few weeks and cooks seems to be getting more involved in the offense.

so now I need to make some choices today. Pick 3, Full PPR:

Aaron Jones v. LAC
DeVon Achane v LV (I’m also starting Raheem)
Adam Theilen v DAL
Terry McLaurin v NYG
James Conner @ HOU

Theilen has the worst matchup but also can probably feast in garbage time. I want to wait and see if they ease Achane back in but already reports surfacing today that he’ll be full go, so idk

Also, in a 4 pt per passing TD league…Stroud or Fields?

 

If you’re asking strictly for passing TDs then Stroud is the obvious choice. I’d hold off on playing Fields just to see how he returns, especially if you have another QB (Stroud) that is more than capable

 

Just more saying that rushing TDs form QBs are more valuable than passing ones in that league so wasn’t sure how we were feeling there w/ fields. But yeah with Stroud so hot, hard to bench him even with that

Hmm….yeah somehow I lean Ridley here even though I feel like I shouldn’t? Lol

 

I don’t know if I’d drop Ridley. That 10 target game from Cooks was flukey to me given it was a blowout. If you’re willing to drop either of them I’d guess you’re aren’t really playing either right now. I’d hang on to Ridley just because of the draft capital you spent on him and I think if they get going he’s more likely to maintain a good output.

Jags know they need to change their offense and there is word they’re going to make a change with play calling this week.

 

Deciding between Wilson and Lockett in PPR for today with both dudes banged up. I think I’d rather rolls the dice with Wilson since Lockett’s is a hamstring and that thing could easily get worse.

 

Also @GrantCloud Zay Jones is active today after being out for a few weeks and the Jags offense has been a lot more functional with him being on the field to stretch the defense.
