In a predicament with my defense situation this week. I have Buffalo in one league and they are playing Miami (RIP). Should I a) ride it out, b) drop them for someone else, or c) roster a second defense this week? None of the options are great lol. They have a good schedule so I don’t really want to drop them and I also don’t really want to roster a second defense. However, the most in any team as gotten against Miami in Yahoo so far is 5.0, with the other two getting 2.0 and 0.0
Outside of like, 1 year in the past 15 years (Chicago D a handful of years ago) I switch up my D almost weekly. Another “crap-shoot” position for the most part that I just try to pick a D on waivers that is going up against a bad offense. That’s always been my philosophy with defense (and I would not start them vs. Miami)
I like having a top defense that I can just set and forget (for the most part), but I've also done streaming with Ds. Last year I invested in the Eagles D in every single league because I knew with the signings and draft picks they were gonna be good, and man did that work out. Went with them in a couple of leagues again this year and so far so decent.
Alright folks, full PPR, pick 2 WRs DJ Moore Brandin Cooks Adam Theilen Elijah Moore Jayden Reed Joshua Palmer Same league, pick a RB for flex (For reference, I'm already starting Aaron Jones and Raheem Mostert....if Jones doesn't go tomorrow I'm gonna need two of these guys) De'Von Achane Miles Sanders Javonte Williams Jerrick McKinnon Achane feels like a must start obviously but feels weird starting two RBs from the same backfield. They can't go off for 400 yards and 8 TDs every week!
I honestly don't know if I'd play Achane this week. Bills defense is miles better than Denver and they likely won't have 2 full quarters of garbage time for Achane to take over carries. I think Mostert is still the guy in that backfield right now. Not saying I don't think Achane will be good but this may be a week to see how they split carries against an actual good team. I'd say go with someone like Williams or Sanders unless you just aren't confident in them. For the WRs, I'd say Thielen if Dalton is still in this week and maybe Moore?
@David87 I was going to say the same exact thing that @morgantayler said. I might be a little hestitant on Thielen if Young plays but he's going up against Minn coming off a great week. Can't sit him outta the WRs in that group.
I'm in the really fun situation of a bunch of meh plays and I need to start 1 at FLEX: Dotson vs Eagles J. Reed vs Detroit (TNF & Watson back) Roschon vs Denver Charbonnet vs NYG Akers vs Carolina
Need some help since I have to make a decision before tomorrow. 0.5ppr Pick 3 (2 RB, 1 FLEX) Gibbs @ GB Ford v BAL Kyren @ IND Mattison @ CAR Also have Burks, Palmer, Cooks, and Perine available but feel like those 4 are are the best options and they’re all pretty close
I give up Jordan Love and a projected late 2025 first and receive Swift & Addison in dynasty superflex What do we think? (My QB room is good)
@morgantayler tough choice but Id probably roll with gibbs/kyren/mattison. I know Fords been good though so hes hard to bench. @Donnie Ruth love it.
Who would you guys roll with at TE this week? Hunter Henry vs Dallas Luke Musgrave vs Detroit Thinking Musgrave.
Would ya'll rather trade for ARSB or Keenan Allen? 1 point ppr league, both have their injury concerns so I'm not sure who would be better to get lol
I'd prefer Allen. He was already Herberts go to target and now with Big Mike out for the season, he should continue dominating targets. I know ARSB dominates targets in his offense too but man Allens been on fire.
Someone either convince me to start Musgrave over Waller (PPR), or convince me that’s the dumbest thing ever
I think I’m still starting Waller even though it’s not been fun yet, and I do like Musgrave. In the one half NYG looked decent he ended up with 80 yards and in the others played SF and Dallas. Seattle ain’t the same caliber defense haha
Are y'all rolling with Barkley this week. Seems like a big risk to put him in starting line-up with the game not being until Monday and no clear answer as to whether he's playing or not. In the meantime, what 2 (or 3) would you roll with? Barkley James Cook James Conner Zach Moss Jerome Ford R. Johnson (not even really considering at all)
I would probably avoid playing Barkley if he's back. They said it was a high ankle sprain and usually players aren't super productive their first game back. I'd go Moss and Cook.
He has a great matchup, but I'm loaded with a bunch of RB2/3s so I feel more comfortable with my other options.
