FOrd has way more upside than Moss. Moss may well be in a committee or just a change of pace guy in a couple of weeks. Ford seems like he's gonna be a locked in 15-20 carry dude. Yeah, small benches are the key. Something like 4-5 bench spots max, especially come bye weeks, basically forces people to drop sleepers who havent hit yet For example, I've dropped/picked up Jayden Reed multiple times trying to play the odds of other backups, etc. I dropped him to get Jerome Ford before that MNF game, for example, and it paid off. In a 6-7 bench spot league, I'd have both already.
My main league went the complete opposite years ago. We're a 10 team league with 3 WRs and a flex, and we had 6 bench spots for a long time. Eventually came to the conclusion as a league that too many serviceable guys were left on the wire and it was too easy to pick dudes up, so we upped it to 7 bench spots. It's FAAB so the few guys that do break out and become available become a mad scramble. Once again kicking myself for not picking up Puka before week 1. Sigh.
ugh I’ll never understand non-traders lol Kupp owner is 0-2 so I offer Michael Pittman Jr. & Gus Edwards which I know isn’t the greatest but not even a counter?! smh
Somehow got Ford for my team that had Chubb even though I was 7th on the waiver priority??? lol There were other claims too
Love that espn shows failed waiver attempts now. Literally everyone went for kyren but dude with #1 priority got him lol
I'm a little less depressed after Ford showed out and the coaches said he's the guy, but man the loss of Chubb on my 16 team league team and my NFFC best ball team that is currently ranked 64 out of 2868 teams really sucks. Both teams were pretty legit and now I gotta really hope Ford can ball. Luckily on the best ball team I had good depth at RB (Bijan, Sanders, Mostert), but my WRs were kinda weak so was depending on those 4 RBs to fill the 2 RB slots and Flex every week, with the ceiling of the Bijan/Chubb combo being super high. Lost that now. Luckily my late WR picks have really payed of there, namely Puka, but also got contributions from Brandon Johnson in week 2 (Mims got bumped from the lineup after Ford's good game) and Kendrick Bourne/Jakobi Meyers in week 1. So my WR depth has stepped up so far, but I realllllly need the guys I actually drafted to be my #2 and #3 guys, Nuk and Dotson, to step up now. The 3rd team I had Chubb on I was 4th on waiver priority and missed out on Ford. BUT that team has decent depth at RB right now so the Chubb loss doesn't totally kill me, rest of the team just has to stop sucking lol
I am in a 14 team guillotine league (2 teams out already obviously) and this is what my roster now looks like, after grabbing Ridley this week and Amon-Ra last week lmao now, I'm out of FAAB for the year but if you win the weekly high you get some back.
Wow that’s sweet! At first I thought “damn a lil weak at QB compared to the rest” and then saw you had Richardson lol
yeah it was an auction league and all the other guys went crazy on the rushing QBs so I just sat and took value everywhere else
Cooks is pretty droppable at this point right? I'm thinking of picking up Reynolds. My top 3 guys are Brown, Ridley, and Pittman but my bench isn't the greatest. I just have Burks and Cooks behind them. I think Burks has a better potential down the line.
Would you pick up any of these shitbirds to start over Fields this week (and potentially moving forward?) if the answer is yes gonna have a hard time figuring out who to drop lol 5 bench league and one of those spots is occupied by JT who I’m hoping will pay off at some point
max theres like 10 players there id feel better about over fields lol if goff is still available i like him the most there
I don't feel good about any of them lol they all fall into the exact same category as this years Fields - could be a disaster or could post a solid outing
I wouldn’t drop Cooks yet. Week 1 was a complete wash for the Dallas offense and he didn’t play last week. We legit still don’t know what he can do in that offense yet haha
