Philadelphia Eagles select Darnell Washington, TE, Georgia

The dude looks like a fucking monstar and he wears the number 0. The Eagles have requested that players be allowed to wear the number 0 in the NFL. Gee, I wonder why.

Washington gives them extra beef in the run game as a dominant blocker and can develop as a laser behind Dallas Goedert. Washington is a significant improvement over Jack Stoll at TE2 and can help improve the Eagles’ 12 personnel packages so they don’t have to rely on 11, and specifically Quez Watkins, as much as they did in recent seasons. In addition, he may eventually replace Goedert in a few years, just as Goedert replaced Zach Ertz a couple years ago.
