Lions select Calijah Kancey. and with that, an absolute monster of a D-Line is formed. Good luck stopping Carter, Kancey, and Hutch. With all the improvements in the secondary in free agency, the Lions are able to double up on a position that doesn’t have much talent at it right now.
I just realized that I picked for the raiders even though they are assigned to Dave lmao I don’t know why I did. But it happened.
Tampa Bay selects Deonte Banks CB, Maryland. Talk about a roster in flux. The only thing I know for sure is this isn’t the team that can develop Will Levis. Oh, and their cb room is empty.
We can swap raiders and rams as our teams? I think that’s what happened. I scanned the list too fast.
I’m pretty sure I’m also Tampa lol Seattle Seahawks select Jordan Addison, WR, USC Tyler Lockett is probably immortal and will play at a high level forever, but in the off chance he isn’t, they grab the heir apparent to be DK’s shifty compliment
The LA Chargers select: Brian Branch - Defensive Back - Alabama Free safety, slot corner, dime backer Line him up all over and he’ll make an immediate impact in every spot
lol no worries at all I almost took him for Seattle too since they’ve been in on the QB prospects and decided to let the slide continue
The Ravens have 3 really obvious needs, but this pick is the only way they are stopping Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Ravens select Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia. The Ravens have not invested a high draft pick in a cornerback since Humphrey was drafted in 2017. Marcus Peters contract expired and he was more of a band-aid than a strong solution, as both Peters and Humphrey are way too aggressive to deal with deep threats on a regular basis. The fact Peters is still unsigned should signal where he's at in this stage of his career. I absolutely do not think Trayvon Mullen is about to step up and take his place. Wink Martindale is gone, so it's time for the Ravens to move on from his stubborn ways and continue to revamp the secondary. Kyle Hamilton was an awesome move to add size, physicality, and range to their secondary, and they do so again here. Ringo already exhibited great size and physicality on tape, he's clearly one of the strongest corners in the draft and he uses his length well to minimize throwing windows. His jams at the line are top notch, and he plays smashmouth run defense, which matches the way the Ravens like to play in both man and zone. But it's the 4.36 speed that has me really sold, and makes me believe he can get in Ja'Marr Chase's face without getting destroyed downfield. Humphrey is a better match-up for Tee Higgins anyway.
