2023 Chorus.fm NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Bijan to the Eagles • Page 21

Discussion in 'Sports Forum' started by CarpetElf, Mar 21, 2023.

  1. One of the draft sites made the Dubose player comp Pickens and I kinda like it. I don’t think he can get up as high as Pickens on the contested catches, but he’s still pretty impressive with those catches. I think Dubose will be one of those WR2/3s that just always seems to make the big catch on 3rd down but never does anything spectacular otherwise.

When he figures out how to beat press coverage, he'll be a problem.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

    Lions:
    Jalen Carter
    Calijah Kancey
    Emmanuel Forbes
    Daiyan Henley
    Jammie Robinson

  4. Derrick Brown
    Keeanu Benton
    Bryan Bresee

    Frankie Luvu
    Jeremy Chinn
    Shaq Thompson
    Brian Burns

That front seven would be a lot of fun. Chinn and Luvu would thrive in these new roles. Both playing with a lot of freedom.

What would it look like in nickel since that’s the majority of all defensive formations these days?

  6. I don’t wanna talk about that because outside of Horn I hate our corners.

  8. Where are you on Hutchinson? I don't know much about him but he felt right for them and I can see them double dipping at WR this year.

He's okay. His speed is worrisome to me because he does a really good job of stacking defensive backs, but he rarely gets away.

    Kind of Josh Doctson-ish.

    Bryce Young
    Christian Gonzalez
    Quentin Johnston
    Luke Musgrave
    Felix Anudike-Uzomah
    Rakim Jarrett

  11. That does not suck and I hate it

    there is one way out

    Steelers:
    Joey Porter Jr.
    Matthew Bergeron
    Trenton Simpson
    Siaki Ika
    Jacquelin Roy
    Parker Washington

not sure the trade down was worth it. Probably would have preferred to stay out and pick my preferred guys. But I’d be overall happy with this haul.

    Cincinnati Bengals: A

    RT Anton Harrison
    TE Tucker Kraft
    CB Darius Rush
    RB DeWayne McBride

Two day one starters at positions of need.
Two day one rotational players and potential starters.

    Green Bay Packers: B

    WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba
    DE Adetomiwa Adebawore
    TE Sam LaPorta
    S Jordan Battle
    NB Jartavius Martin

    WR1
Freak athlete to bookend the DL with another freak athlete on the other side
    Great TE
    High floor safety
    High floor nickel

    New York Giants: B-

    TE Dalton Kincaid
    C Olu Oluwatimi
    MLB Dorian Williams
    WR Charlie Jones
    S Brandon Joseph

I don't know if I made this pick before the trade or not but now they've got three tight ends and jack shit at receiver. Olu is probably a day one starter but not for sure. Dorian same. Charlie Jones is a high-floor guy that unfortunately play the same role as every other receiver they have.

    San Francisco 49ers: A+

    RG Chandler Zavala
    NB Tre'Vius Hodges-Tomlinson
    FS Ronnie Hickman

Only three picks in this mock, all at the very end of the third. They somehow filled their biggest needs and did so with great prospects.

    Washington Commanders: B

    C Steve Avila
    LG/LT Cody Mauch
    TE Zack Kuntz
    LE Isaiah McGuire

Good but hard to get excited for this draft as a fan. Two OL, a TE that isn't ready yet, and a back-up DE.

    Jacksonville Jaguars: A

    ROLB Nolan Smith
    LG Joe Tippman
    NB Mekhi Blackmon
    LE Kobie Turner
    RB Roschon Johnson

Nolan and Kobie are A+++ picks that complete our line and should transform us into a dangerous team. Tippman and Blackmon are probably gonna start rough but finish the year well. I really like them both but they'll be adjusting to new position and scheme, tough ask for a rookie. Roschon is the perfect RB2 for us.
