Cincinnati Bengals select DeWayne McBride, RB, UAB Bengals have to replace Samaje Perine. McBride's biggest knock is the uniform he put on in college. If he played like he played at UAB 60 miles southwest, he'd be the undisputed RB2 of the class. His receiving profile is dismal but Perine had a total of 10 receptions his final year of college. McBride is one of the best pass blocking RBs in the draft, something that is very important to Zac Taylor. He'll enter this year hoping to replace Perine but could end the year replacing Mixon. @Swoos keep clawing, pound up
The Bears select Zack Kuntz, TE, Old Dominion I really just wanna see Randall and Matt argue about his perfect 10 RAS score lol But really, this draft has been very "How do I help Fields" focused. Playmakers in Mims, Bigsby and Kuntz is a nice haul for an offense that started to flash a bit last year and is already adding DJ Moore.
he was already taken lol probably didn’t see him because he’s listed as Zach ****z on the front page haha
Swoos draft recap: Panthers: CJ Stroud, QB, Ohio State Bryan Bresee, DL, Clemson Keeanu Benton, DT, Wisconsin Yaya Diaby, EDGE, Louisville Grant Dubose, WR, UNC Charlotte I didn’t intend to go so heavy on DL for this draft but the way the board fell, Bresee and Benton felt like obvious picks. I think they both have the talent to be starters year one. Diaby will at least be a good rotational edge rusher that can come in on passing downs. Dubose is a player that has caught my eye over the last few days. I think he’s being overlooked. He is a playmaker. Browns: Tuli Tuipulotu, DL, USC Kayshon Boutte, WR, LSU Zach Pickens, DT, South Carolina Deuce Vaughn, RB, Kansas State Considering the Browns didn’t have any early picks, they should be pretty happy with this haul. Added some depth to the DL and a couple solid weapons for the offense. Cowboys: Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame Antonio Johnson, S, Texas A&M Andrew Vorhees, IOL, USC Byron Young, EDGE, Tennessee This feels like a very Dallas draft. Mayer will be an impact player from day one, especially when he’s stepping into an offense that’s already pretty good. And once Vorhees is healthy, he’ll just be another good piece to an already good OL. Chiefs: Lukas Van Ness, EDGE, Iowa Cedric Tillman, WR, Clemson Noah Sewell, LB, Oregon Luke Schoonmaker, TE, Michigan Van Ness and Tillman to Chiefs just isn’t fair. Raiders: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois Dawand Jones, OT, Ohio State Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee Yasir Abdullah, EDGE, Louisville DeMarvion Overshown, LB, Texas Love the first two picks for Raiders here. Think they both fill big areas of need. Hooker being able to take his time healing up before coming in midseason for an injured Jimmy G. It could end up being a steal. Titans: Paris Johnson Jr, OT, Ohio State John-Michael Schmitz, C, Minnesota Tyler Scott, WR, Cincinnati Added two starters on OL which they desperately need. Scott will come in a get a lot of snaps from the start, but that’s more so because their WRs are awful, not because Scott is so good. Ranking the drafts: Cowboys Panthers Chiefs Titans Raiders Browns
Draft Recap: Bears Myles Murphy Jaelyn Duncan Will McDonald Marvin Mims Tank Bigsby Ricky Stromberg I love this draft. Coming away with Murphy and McDonald on the defense, and some fun weapons on offense is a fun time. Patriots Deandre Hopkins Broderick Jones Jack Campbell Clark Phillips III Xavier Hutchinson I would cry tears of joy if this came to fruition. Outside of Hop which is a pipe dream, Jones Campbell and Phillips are all exactly the kinda guys I want. Falcons Anthony Richardson BJ Ojulari Rashee Rice DJ Turner II Kenny McIntosh Ummm we'll see? That offense could be a lot of fun. Rams Josh Downs Julius Brents JL Skinner Whatever, they're cheap lol
New York Jets: Darnell Wright - OT - Tennessee Drew Sanders - LB - Arkansas Keaton Mitchell - RB - East Carolina (Aaron Rodgers) Buffalo Bills: Jalin Hyatt - Wideout - Tennessee Sydney Brown - Safety - Illinois Tank Dell - Wideout - Houston Zach Evans - Running Back - Ole Miss Miami Dolphins: Jahmyr Gibbs - Running Back - Alabama Blake Freeland - Offensive Tackle - BYU Arizona Cardinals: Bijan Robinson - Running Back - Texas O"Cyrus Torrence - Offensive Guard - Florida Tyrique Stevenson - Cornerback - Miami (FL) Herny To'o To'o - Linebacker - Alabama Colby Wooden - Defensive Line - Auburn Brodric Martin - Defensive Tackle - Western Kentucky Denver Broncos: Zach Charbonnet - Running Back - UCLA Gervon Dexter - Defensive Tackle - Florida Tanner McKee - Quarterback - Stanford LA Chargers: Brian Branch - Defensive Back - Alabama Devon Achane - Running Back - Texas A&M Derick Hall - EDGE - Auburn Dontay Demus - Wideout - Maryland
They make sense together though. Hyatt is more of a vertical threat. Tank is more of a yac/gadget type player you can do a lot of cool stuff with. Especially with Diggs getting so much attention from the defense.
Hyatt and Davis out wide with Diggs in the slot and Dell in the backfield is nightmarish. Buffalo already had a plan in place for a smallish wideout in Isaiah McKenzie. Dell is a better player than him. I'd be pretty annoyed if Buffalo actually got him.
